This page tries to capture current status and planned changes to telephony at Homebase.

Current status

KP use mostly normal phone lines:

2 cellphones (to TDC?)
12 normal lines to TDC
1 ISDN2 line to TDC
1 PBX switching between 8 of the outside normal lines and 12(?) internal normal lines.
12(?) normal phones
ItipTelefon problemer

FL use only normal phone lines:

5 normal lines (to TDC?)
1 PBX switching between 4 of the outside normal lines and 12 internal normal lines.
9-12 normal phones

KP:

Move 1 cellphone to Unotel (AndersKrøyer's 30914878)
Move 1 normal line to Unotel (the non-chained line 86122096 - scheduled for june 28, 2006)
(Buy 2Mbit/128kbit ADSL line to Unotel - see ItProjectInternet)
Buy 2 VoIP lines to Unotel (new numbers - 69106490 arrived but not tested, 69106474 still pending)

Comparison to current KP setup (note that quarterly expenses now includes 2 additional experimental VoIP phones):

KP:

Move 8(?) normal lines to 4 ISDN lines at Unotel (those chained to dial into the master number, preserving the chain!)
Move ISDN line to Unotel (after locating it physically and testing that it actually works)
Convert fax number into a secondary number on existing ISDN line (closing down the old fax line)

FL:

Move 1 normal line to Unotel, and convert it to ISDN2 (closing down 2 old lines)

KP:

Move/convert/merge remaining normal lines to Unotel ISDN2 lines and/or VoIP ones (based on own experiences with VoIP and FL experiences with ISDN2)
Move remaining cellphone to Unotel (now that Anders is experienced in advicing about it).

FL:

Move/convert/merge 2 more normal lines to Unotel ISDN2 lines.
Move remaining normal line to Unotel (keeping it as a normal line to not weaken security).

Setup a VoIP PBX locally at Homebase, switching between Unotel VoIP line, local accounts for each user, and other Jonas:RedPill VoIP islands.
Reuse VoIP routers from Unotel (they are bought, not rented) for outposts.
