Founded in 1999, The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) is an international, not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation with headquarters in Germany. As one of Europe's leading organisations in the field of cultural exchange, the ICD is at the centre of a global network of independent partners in both the public and private sectors. Who can apply? The programs are open to all individuals with an interest in international relations and intercultural exchange.

What will the programs involve? The programs will consist of lectures, seminars, workshops, and cultural activities in and around Berlin. The participants will meet with leading figures from the political, diplomatic, academic and civil society spheres to discuss the issues outlined above. Cultural excursions and entertainment will be planned to allow the participants to network with each other and experience Berlin’s vibrant cultural landscape.

What happens after the programs? After completing the programs participants become Forum members. They are then supported by the ICD in conducting research, in organising and developing leadership initiatives, and are invited to join the ICD Online Forum where they can network with the other Young Leaders from around the world.
