COMPUTER AND IT - WHAT YOU NEED AND HOW WE CAN ASSIST YOU
When you start at the KaosPilots it is expected that you to bring your own Apple/Mac laptop. Many of you are probably using a PC today, but now it is time to make the change and we will assist you in doing so!
Buying a laptop:
In the beginning of August we will send you information on Apple/Mac laptops - including what you need as a minimum, prices and where you can buy the computer if you don't already have one. The KaosPilots has made an agreement with Fona Østergade in Aarhus, where you can buy the computer, accesories and insurances at favourable student prices. Mail accounts, private webpages and access to databases
When you start at the KaosPilots you will be given a KaosPilot E-mail adress, access to databases at the school and private webpages where you can up-load information about yourself and the project you will be involved in. During the first couple of weeks our IT-person will assist you in setting up E-mail accounts and getting access to the databases and webpages. These lessons will take place during short sessions in the mornings.
