Client Call Manuscript

An example out of many…

Presentation (To wake Attention):

Hello, My name is xxxxxxx and I am a student at the KaosPilots in Århus, Denmark.

In case an explanation about the KP is needed:

The KaosPilots work in the field of international business and social innovation. It is a value based entrepreneurial education with “real world” as one of our main values. Therefore, I am contacting YOU as the real client.

In case you know that you are speaking with "the right" contact person:

Can I take 5 min of your time to present an idea of a possible cooperation?

(This question is asked to get the confirmation that you are "allowed" to take the time needed. You can also later on relate to the minutes you were given if the person says: "I don't think this is interesting for us," before he or she has listened to you, so you can say in a nice way: You gave me the opportunity of presenting this for you, is that still ok with you? Observe that you don't say: "I hope I am not interrupting" or something similar cause you can assume you are in a way - don't apologize!)

Reason for calling (To wake an Interest):

I am calling since I am looking for an exciting client to work for as part of my education. Your company has caught my interest and I would love/like to have a dialogue about a potential collaboration/cooperation!

A process for me (The Desire for them):

A processleader/processfacilitator for me has the ability to facilitate a process. Let’s say that you:

Examples:

I am equipped with the tools, methods and theories to be used in those real world examples and I would like to contribute to your company and have a great learning experience while doing it.

Finish (Action):

When would it suit you to have a chat/talk about how your company could benefit from my knowledge? (This gives them the option of making an appointment or to take the dialogue right away, so we don't "push it").
